There was a bit of silence. But one of these productive silences (and maybe all silences are productive). A creative withdrawal to ponder a new co-creative format. I loved when some writing here unfolded into a real conversation e.g., The Queen is Dead where people from all over the globe shared their voices.
With my Australian process work colleague Penny Watson, we spent some time to breed on the question of how we could involve more of these voices earlier in the process and we came up with this proposal …
3 months / 3 topics / 3 sessions
WorldWork Journalism. Intimate. Co-creative. Public. Deep Democracy in action.
Join us in exploring and experimenting with a new form of co-creative/ interactive writing we are calling Worldwork Journalism. It combines the immediacy of worldwork group process (dialogue facilitation) with the reflective space of writing, followed by an invitation to a wider audience to join in, here on substack.
Starting point of this process is a virtual session with a globally spread group max of 10 people. We will open a facilitated space for sorting the topic, and a group process, which then flows into individual writing prompts. These prompts will open the next level of a broader dialogue. They will be posted online where our group can continue unfolding the process.
Then we will invite others in as readers and/or as co-writers to add to the conversation. We will do this via this ‘free-style journalist/everyday writers' platform called Substack. This online interactive space will be actively facilitated over a 2 to 5 days period.
What you need to bring:
interest in worldwork (world’s burning issues)
a curious mind,
love for experimentation,
commitment over this first period of 3 months/dates.
We cannot wait to step into this creative, worldwork endeavor, meeting people worldwide and co-creating dialogue inside out. This first series of exploratory workshops is at no cost; so, book now to reserve your place!
